- The mask is worn by an invisible apparition. Floating through abandoned corridors and ballrooms. With flickers of light from old decaying lamps on the walls and ceilings bouncing off of it.

- The mask is a key. Opening up on a statue of a man/woman, the mask is placed on the statues face. It is then soon accompanied by the sounds of eternal clicks and mechanisms being brought to life within the statue. The statue then begins to spin and move like a music box.

- The mask is living malevolent entity. A parasite, passed on to person to person. Stealing the free will and identities of the poor souls who wear it. Making them commit horrible acts of violence and slaughter until the host is killed or grows to weak for the mask to be able to use.
